Black Desert aims to set new standards for MMORPGs with a graphics upgrade

Black Desert Remastered expands the game with better graphics and a more beautiful soundtrack. Players can enjoy the big update this week.

The Black Desert Remastered update beautifies the graphics of the MMO. Additionally, a newly composed soundtrack aims to enhance immersion. Pearl Abyss has put in a lot of effort for the update and wants to remain among the “prettiest” MMOs.

Update is free for everyone

New features are not a must: Players do not have to pay anything for the new soundtrack and the enhanced graphics. Those who do not wish to use the improved graphics can continue to play Black Desert as usual. The new update simply adds new options. All players benefit from the new sound effects.

When does Remastered come out? On August 22, it will be ready. The new update will be applied then. Particularly impatient players who are on the test servers can already try out the new update.

Improved graphics: With Black Desert Remastered, new visual effects find their way into the game.

• The physics of the armors will be improved. Armors shine
• Physically based lighting of objects is now possible. Additionally, there is improved post processing and nicer water
• The game will receive nicer clouds and HDR rendering. HDR rendering is supposed to enable more realistic contrasts

Newly recorded music: Over 300 minutes of new music have been recorded for Black Desert Remastered. A total of 100 pieces have been revamped.

• Bosses receive new sound and voice effects
• New ambient sounds will be added. This should make the world of Black Desert feel even more real
• In total, three orchestras from three different countries have contributed to the remaster of the soundtrack.
