In Black Desert, the Awakening weapons might soon come to us. GamesCom is bringing new information.
“Very soon after GamesCom,” the Awakening weapons are coming
One of the most eagerly awaited features of Black Desert is the Awakening weapons. Since the release of the game, Western fans have been waiting for this war tool to make its way into the local version of the game. With the “Awakenings,” completely new playstyles emerge, as the weapons come with new abilities, animations, and a reorientation of the entire class. Until now, there has been no announcement regarding the release of the weapons – unlike in Korea, they want to release all Awakenings simultaneously here, and not individually.
When asked by a fan when the Awakening weapons would finally be released, a vague statement was given: “Not next week, but very soon after GamesCom.”
In another Twitter post, it was stated that fans would be able to try out the Awakenings at the gaming fair.
All of this indicates that players will be able to enjoy the new weapons sometime during the summer – or at the latest in autumn. But perhaps we will receive more concrete information starting Wednesday, as GamesCom in Cologne begins then. We will definitely keep you updated.
Black Desert has faced several issues in recent weeks, as players are increasingly convinced that the game is trending towards “Pay2Win”. The last peak was reached when Kakao “threatened” players with creating Schufa entries for chargebacks.
