In Black Desert Online there is always something to celebrate. Therefore, the beginning of spring is celebrated with a lovely cherry blossom festival.
Black Desert Online is not only known for its beautiful graphics, an open sandbox world, and donkeys, but also for various holiday events. Whether Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, or even St. Patrick’s Day: Whenever there’s a celebration anywhere in the world, it takes place in Black Desert Online as well. Therefore, it is not surprising that the beginning of spring is also celebrated extensively as part of a holiday event.
Black Desert Online – Cherry blossoms herald the awakening of spring
To ensure that spring arrives in the BDO world as well, the residents celebrate the “Cherry Blossom Festival.” The festival starts today, on March 23, and ends on April 12 with server maintenance.
During the event, you can obtain five cherry blossoms per day. Each hour a new blossom can be obtained from the challenge menu. You can then exchange these blossoms with a talent teacher for the following items:
- 5 blossoms for a box of delicate cherry blossoms
- 3 x memory fragment
- 3 x black stone (armor)
- 3 x black stone (weapon)
- 15 blossoms for a box of radiant cherry blossoms
- 10 x memory fragment
- 1 x concentrated magical black stone (armor)
- 1 x concentrated magical black stone (weapon)
- 25 blossoms for a box of shiny cherry blossoms
- 15 x memory fragment
- 1 x [Event] black magic crystal box
- 75 blossoms for a fine accessory box containing one of the following items
- Oger Ring
- Tungrade Earring
- Basilisk’s Belt
- Half-Moon Guardian’s Ring
BDO – Cherry Blossom Event – A cherry tree to take home
If you can’t get enough cherry blossoms, you can buy one “cherry blossom seed” (shouldn’t it be cherry tree seed?) per day per family for 1 loyalty. You plant this in your fence, where it takes up two spaces. When the cherry tree has grown, you can harvest it and receive a cherry blossom pot.
You can place this pot plant once per residence and earn 20 decoration points. You may perform this action until April 12, after which the seed will disappear. However, the pots will remain.
