Black Desert Online is set to be released on consoles Xbox One and PS4. But when and how?
Black Desert Online set new standards for online role-playing games with its stunning graphics and detailed character editor. Unfortunately, so far only PC players have been able to enjoy the beautifully polished sandbox from Pearl Abyss/Kakao Games. Console players have been left empty-handed.

However, there is hope for players on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Already in January, the developers at Pearl Abyss spoke about a planned console port of Black Desert Online in an interview published in Taiwan. Only to then remain silent and disclose no further information.
Meanwhile, players repeatedly asked the European publisher Kakao Games via Twitter what was happening with the console ports. There was indeed a response, but it was rather disillusioning: Yes, Pearl Abyss is actually working on bringing Black Desert Online to PS4 and Xbox One. And no, they cannot say anything more about it. Nope, Zero, Nada!
But at least it seems certain that Black Desert Online will definitely appear on PlayStation or Xbox. Just when and in what condition? Especially the noble glossy graphics should put the current console generation to the test.
