Black Desert Online finally receives the Awakening Weapons. However, at first only for Warriors. Additionally, the second part of the Valencia Update is also being added.
Finally, it is here! We are talking about the first Awakening weapon, as players of Kakao Games’ sandbox MMO have been waiting for these special tools of destruction for a long time. However, those who do not play as Warriors will still have to be patient, as the new weapon is first intended only for this class.

Greatsword and Desert Cities
By the way, the Warrior’s Awakening weapon is an oversized greatsword. This means the Warrior loses the protection of their shield but becomes significantly more effective in offense, making them better suited as an Off-Tank or DPS class. Furthermore, the giant sword looks absolutely amazing! The new weapon is available from level 55, and we can seamlessly switch between the conventional sword-and-shield combo and the greatsword.

To ensure that other classes in Black Desert Online do not get bored while waiting for their Awakening weapons to appear, the second part of the Valencia Update is also launching today. And no, we are not getting a Spanish football team this time either. Instead, the vast desert becomes even larger, and we can venture all the way to “Muiquun”, the city of bandits and outlaws.
