In Korea, there is a new duel mode and numerous new skin and hair colors in Black Desert.
Fair Duels Without Negative Consequences
While the official release of Black Desert took place on March 3, 2016, in our region, there was a new update in the Korean original version at that time. This introduced a new feature for PvP lovers, as players can now duel each other. It works traditionally in 1vs1 battles. But larger groups can also compete against each other.
Those who are particularly brave can fight alone against a team of multiple players to show their colleagues who the champion in PvP is. Duels have the great advantage that they have no negative impact on either the winner or the loser. Therefore, no one has to fear for their karma when engaging in an honorable fight this way.
The patch also brought even more for Korean players. Currently, they are enjoying a special bonus XP event and can also look forward to over 40 new hair colors and 30 new skin colors for each class. Additionally, there were some balancing changes to ensure more fairness in PvP.
It is probably only a matter of time until at least the additional customization options also come to us in the West.
