In Black Desert, a free companion is given away – if you log in 12 times in the coming weeks.

To launch the two new classes Maewha and Musa, Black Desert is hosting a special event. Between April 20 and May 4, players can claim a free login reward every day, the so-called “Maewha Seals”. One of them has little use by itself, but once you have collected several of them (one per day), you can arrange them in a specific order in your inventory to earn various rewards – even a pet, the Hawk companion is included!
Until now, a common criticism has been that there was no way to acquire a companion other than purchasing it in the cash shop.

Depending on the arrangement, different rewards await, determined by the number of seals. From left to right, the following items can be collected:
- 3 Seals: 2 Black Stones (Armor)
- 6 Seals: 3 Black Stones (Weapon)
- 9 Seals: 5 Memory Fragments
- 12 Seals: 4 Black Stones (Armor), 6 Black Stones (Weapon), 10 Memory Fragments and the Hawk companion!
Anyone wanting to secure the free companion will need to log in 12 times in the coming days. Since pets are otherwise only available through the shop, one should not miss this opportunity.
However, you can’t take off many days. The promotion only lasts until the maintenance on May 4.
