There is a new price increase of the items in the auction house of the Korean version of the MMORPG Black Desert. In particular, the boss equipment and the top items are affected.
The prices are rising – but so far only in Korea
A price increase of about 50 percent. After a patch, Black Desert players in Korea have noticed that especially the prices of the best equipment and the boss items have increased by about 50 percent compared to the EU/US version. You can see examples in the picture below. Prices in Korea are now much higher than those in North America and Europe.
Black Desert – the different auction house: In Black Desert, the auction house has fixed prices set by the developer. However, prices can fluctuate within a certain range, but only up to a certain maximum price (as seen above). Such price increases significantly raise the overall level. In auction houses in WoW, for example, the prices are completely free – the developer has nothing to do with it.
Effects on EU/US version still unclear. Whether this price increase will also transfer to the EU or US version of Black Desert is currently unclear. For now, it is a wait-and-see game.
