Information about the Black Desert founder packages has come to light. However, this information is not final, as stated by Daum.
Daum has the Blizzard plague: These damn pre-order pages just go online and are discovered even before they are ready to release the information. Black Desert is supposed to be released as a “Buy2Play” MMORPG in Europe and they are planning founder packages. The details of these founder packages were not clear until now.
Here, they seem to be following common practice: Charging steep prices of €50 for the Silver Edition, €100 for the Gold Edition, promising access to the closed beta (both) and to the alpha (only Gold), two or three and a half days of earlier access when the game is released, and all sorts of packages and goodies like name reservations, respecs, or horses of different tiers.
Additionally, they seem to be planning a “frequent buyer program” that offers discounts for the account, similar to what WildStar has.
Importantly, Daum has commented on this, stating that they regret the leak. The information is still not final, and they are still working on it.
