Black Desert has introduced a new expansion that brings you 2 zones under the sea. We will show you what is available for you there.
What does the expansion bring? This update has already been announced in a road map and brings you the Protty Caves and the underwater ruins of Sycraia into the game. Additionally, there is a new field boss, Sycrid, to battle.
When does the expansion start? So far, these new features do not exist yet. Only on May 22 will these innovations be introduced into the game.
What’s in the new expansion of Black Desert
What are these zones under the sea? Although these two areas are located below the water surface, you can move around normally and do not have to swim.
How do I get to these zones? Last summer, these zones were teased. It was noted there that you can only reach the areas with a boat. From there, you must venture into the ocean.
The Protty Caves are places where darkness prevails, and only plants and creatures illuminate your way. There you will encounter amphibious beings that you must fight.
In the underwater ruins of Sycraia, on the other hand, you will embark on a treasure hunt to find a special artifact that grants you access to special ruins.
There is a new boss: In the underwater ruins, you will also encounter the new boss, Sycrid. You will only be able to defeat this opponent through teamwork.
What else is new? You do not have to wait until May 22 to play new features. Already this week, after maintenance, the feature “Marnis’ Great Stone” will be available. This gives you rare items when you eliminate enemies. The defeated monster must correspond to the type of stone you possess.
