The Korean MMORPG Black Desert is considered one of the hopes for the ailing MMORPG genre. The Western release is now a step closer.
It has indeed been delayed by half a year. In 2014, it was stated, that the first tests were supposed to start in Europe at the beginning of 2015.
Now there has been a first sign of life for a Western port to Europe and North America: Publisher Daum has opened a branch in Amsterdam, Daum is also overseeing the project in Korea and wants to manage the Western port themselves. Maybe this is the starting signal and soon we will hear more about the plans for the West.
Through the career portal LinkedIn, they are looking for a web designer for the Amsterdam branch. A release in the West is scheduled for early 2016.
