Giant Monster Vell appears starting January 28 in Black Desert
This creature, also known as the “Heart of the Sea,” will appear north of Lema Island in the Unknown Sea and will represent the first boss of this caliber in Black Desert Online. There is reason enough to take a closer look at him!
Starting January 28, the epic boss Vell will appear every Sunday at 12:00 and will demand a lot from you. You’d better gather a whole crew, because doing it alone is definitely not going to work.
Colossal Quest Line: Rushing Coast
You will need to complete the event quest line that starts with the quest “Rushing Coast.” You will receive it from the Black Spirit in Velia. Once you accomplish this, you can finally acquire the Old Bartali Sailing Boat and set sail! For the duration of the event, the boat will serve you well.
Then it’s time to fight Vell with cannons and the matchlocks from aboard. But watch out: powerful AoE attacks and his tendency to go into a rage, thereby creating tidal waves, won’t make it easy for you. In the end, however, a precious treasure awaits!
