The YouTuber Technoblade (22) has almost 10 million subscribers and is known for his content about Minecraft . In recent months, he has been battling cancer. In a video, he shares his experiences, revealing that he was repeatedly close to having his right arm amputated to save his life.
Who is Technoblade?

- In August 2021, Technoblade informed his fans that he was suffering from cancer. A sarcoma was detected in his right arm. The YouTuber Dream then organized a charity event to help cancer research, which raised a significant amount of money.

“Having two arms is nice – I’d like to continue that way”
This is what he says now: On Christmas Eve, December 24, Technoblade released a video on YouTube titled “I Almost Became an Amputee,” in which he talked about his battle with cancer in a surprisingly cheerful and candid manner:
Essentially, he had multiple moments of accepting that he would lose his right arm in a life-saving amputation in November.
He received a notification on his phone when his arm amputation appointment was entered in the calendar.
However, the operation on his arm went fantastically. Technoblade only complains that tissue from his leg had to be taken for the reconstruction of his arm. This apparently damaged the body part he is incredibly proud of, his thigh muscle:
I knew they had to take muscle and skin from another part of my body to reconstruct my shoulder after the operation, but I thought they were taking the muscles from my back, from the latissimus dorsi. I was okay with that because no one cares about the latissimus dorsi, it’s the most worthless muscle.
But instead they took it from my thigh muscle. That’s my best muscle. People say about Technoblade: He’s weak, fragile, a gamer, but man, does he have thigh muscles!
Technoblade also included phrases like:
“Having two arms is nice. I want to keep that trend going.”
