The Kung-Fu MMORPG Blade & Soul is offering a lot in the upcoming update “Fire and Blood”. There are new dungeons, a new class variant, and numerous changes to the gameplay!
NCSoft’s colorful martial arts MMO Blade & Soul is known for regularly receiving large updates. The developers seem to want to continue this, as “Fire and Blood” does not refer to the motto of House Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
This is about a major update for Blade & Soul!
New Instances, Story, and PvP Fun
As usual, the story continues in Fire and Blood. This includes two new instances. In a 12-player raid, you will face the corrupted dragon Koldrak in his cave. In the Imperial Tomb, the final boss Chol Mugo awaits you.
Additionally, the Ruins of the Treasury will be another dungeon. If you like cute little gremlins with animal ears and tails and prefer firearms, you can look forward to the Lyn guardians. Until now, the Lyn race has been excluded from this class.
PvP fans can disguise themselves as legendary fighters like Jinsoyun, Poharan, or Master Hong and dive into the arena.
More Loot from the Dungeon!
With the update “Fire and Blood”, there are some gameplay and system changes for Blade & Soul.
- In Veteran mode, there are significantly better loot in many dungeons with the update. This is to ensure that players can rejoice even more over their victory.
- Some older dungeons now grant their previous veteran rewards in standard mode. However, there is no additional veteran loot.
- Upgrade costs for weapons will be readjusted. This way, you can quickly catch up to the optimal gear standard.
The big update “Fire and Blood” for Blade & Soul goes live on March 21, 2018.
Blade & Soul is doing well, even though publisher NCSoft is putting more focus on mobile.
