The developers of Beyond Good & Evil 2 want help. Fans are invited to take part of the work into their own hands and be active. They want to incorporate player content directly into the game and have enlisted help from Hollywood.
The developers of Beyond Good & Evil 2 want to work closely with the community – much more closely than other games have done so far. At Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2018, it was discussed how fans can participate in BGE2. Fans can actively influence the game world and even appear in it with their own artworks and emblems!
Creative people are in demand. Anyone wanting to be a part of Beyond Good & Evil 2 should check out the Hitrecord.org website. This is the company of Hollywood star Joseph Gordon Levitt (Looper). Over the coming months, challenges will be published here for creative minds to participate in. Currently, they are looking for emblems, symbols, and flags for space pirates. Do you have a creative streak or have you previously drawn something that would fit well in BGE2? Now is your chance to submit your image!
Player content everywhere in the world. As the world of Beyond Good & Evil 2 is supposed to take on gigantic dimensions, there will be many more opportunities for fans to participate in the game world. For instance, there could be graffiti in the various slums or propaganda posters that promote or oppose hybrids. Texts, such as poems or diaries from NPCs, would also be conceivable. It remains to be seen what “creative challenges” the developers will present to the fans.
However, there is still no release date for Beyond Good & Evil 2. Fans will probably have to wait several years before they can meet Jade again.
