Fresh from E3, there is a new trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2. And it holds some dark secrets – and a reunion with old acquaintances!
The E3 2018 is in full swing and Ubisoft has just held its press conference. One of the highlights was a fresh trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2. After the developers had already released the first trailer last year, this time there was a bit more story to see. But better watch the trailer for yourself and form your own opinion:
The cinematic trailer gives a first impression of “System 3” and shows the protagonists’ spaceship. On the ship, everyone goes about their daily lives – the cook takes care of supplies and the medic patches the crew back together. When the ship suddenly comes to a halt, the crew tries to escape from the attackers. In doing so, they run into an “old” acquaintance.
Jade is back. The biggest revelation of the trailer is likely that the protagonist from the first “Beyond Good and Evil” reappears – and apparently as an antagonist who still has a bone to pick with the other characters. Unfortunately, no further details have been revealed yet, but fans of the series are certainly excited to encounter Jade once again.
The bad news is, however, that there is still no release date for Beyond Good and Evil 2. The gameplay is still in “pre-alpha status” – so it may still take several years until the actual release, especially given the scope that the developers are aiming for with the game.
