Bethesda even released a “Making Of” video of the very impressive process:
Therefore, it is not impossible that Fallout 76 will also receive such a video.
Marketing isn’t cheap
What does this mean for Fallout 76? First and foremost, it means that Fallout 76 will not be an “insignificant offshoot,” as some fans have feared until now.
The costs for marketing major gaming titles run into the millions, and large, highly visible advertising spaces like that of the Figueroa Hotel cost an extreme amount of money.

If Bethesda is willing to spend the necessary money to rent this advertising space, they will also expect high revenues from the sale of the game.
This places Fallout 76 on the same level as Skyrim, and one can conclude that the budget for the game is likely to be very high.

In the run-up to E3 2018, Bethesda is further fueling the hype around Fallout 76 and spares no expense. The towers of the Figueroa Hotel are being used as a canvas for a massive “Fallout 76” artwork.
Not much is known yet about Bethesda’s new game, and fans are clutching at every new image and piece of information.

Will it be only multiplayer? Will it have a good story? The E3 2018 conference is expected to provide more clarity soon.
What’s certain so far is that it has a huge marketing budget and is definitely not just a small offshoot.
Landmark of Los Angeles
Figueroa? Can you eat that? The Figueroa Hotel is one of the landmarks of Los Angeles, where the E3 conference will take place next week.
The three towers of the hotel offer excellent advertising space with their blank walls, which is often and gladly used by game developers, film studios, and other large companies.
In the past, EA and RockStar have also taken advantage of this advertising opportunity for games like Star Wars: Battlefront 2 or GTA V.

Hasn’t Bethesda done this before? It is not the first time that Bethesda has used the advertising space of the hotel. A huge artwork of Skyrim was painted on the walls of the buildings in 2011.
