Late at night, Bethesda presented its highly anticipated new titles at the E3 2018. Among them are Fallout 76, Rage 2, and information about the upcoming ESO updates. Additionally, there was finally something about The Elder Scrolls 6!
For the Bethesda press conference at E3 2018, you had to be real night owls. The event started only on Monday, June 11, at 3:30 AM our time! But staying up was worth it. The following games were featured.
Bethesda Press Conference – The Highlights
Here you will find everything about the games that were featured in the Bethesda press conference. All new releases and updates for existing games:
Fallout 76
It was considered certain that Bethesda would bring concrete information about the recently teased game Fallout 76 at E3. The title is said to be a spin-off of the Fallout series and take place nearly 20 years after the great nuclear war. Fallout 76 will be a survival-building game with MMO elements, similar to the barbarian game Conan Exiles.
Here you can find all the news about Fallout 76:
- Fallout 76: Release date and all information about the online multiplayer
- Blow your neighbors up with atomic rockets in Fallout 76!
- In Fallout 76, you can build anywhere – The building system C.A.M.P in the trailer
- PvP in Fallout 76: See in the trailer how crazy the multiplayer will be
- Fallout 76 is 4 times larger than Fallout 4 – New E3 trailer is out!
Rage 2
Rage 2 was also seen at E3 2018. The open-world shooter is the sequel to the first part from 2010. In it, you shoot your way through a post-apocalyptic world full of crazy punks and mutants. The game impresses with colorful action even in the trailer.
The Elder Scrolls Online
New content was also presented at E3 2018 for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). There was concrete information about the two missing ESO DLCs for 2018. A dungeon update and a new adventure zone are still on the agenda. We may even learn where the new plot in the game is heading after the Daedra story found its furious finale in the latest add-on Summerset. According to an interview with Creative Director Rich Lambert, the new story is supposed to be particularly impressive.
The Elder Scrolls Legends
The Elder Scrolls card game like Hearthstone also had a place at E3. Bethesda has swapped the development studio. Instead of Dire Wolf, the team from Sparkypants will now take over the development.
Bethesda was not unhappy with the previous performance but wants to explore the game’s possibilities even further with the new studio. The Elder Scrolls Legends will be revamped.
Doom Eternal
Before E3 2018, Bethesda’s Vice Marketing Manager Hines stated that the preparations were “Hell on Earth.” Many fans interpreted that as a clear reference to the legendary shooter series Doom, which is also distributed by Bethesda.
Bethesda has ultimately made Doom Eternal out of the anticipated Doom 2. Doom Eternal brings twice as many demons and “Hell on Earth!” You will get more information about Doom Eternal at QuakeCon in August.
The Elder Scrolls 6
Seven years have passed since the last single-player Elder Scrolls Skyrim. Therefore, fans eagerly await information each year that a sequel is finally in the works. Last year at E3, though, it was still said: The Elder Scrolls 6 is not even in development! They allegedly wanted to complete two more major games before planning the next Elder Scrolls.
New year, new luck: Players hoped earnestly that Bethesda would at least show a small teaser for the Skyrim successor. And Bethesda really delivered: A video of just a few seconds promises in large letters “The Elder Scrolls VI”.
Starfield, new info on Fallout Shelter and a mobile TES
- Starfield: Allegedly, work has been going on for a while on an RPG called Starfield. This is supposed to be a link between Elder Scrolls and Fallout and bring elves into space, among other things. Although there is no concrete information, the rumor has persisted.
- Fallout Shelter for PS4 and Switch: Good news for console fans. The mobile hit “Fallout Shelter” is now finally officially being ported to the Nintendo Switch and the PS4!
- New Mobile Game: After Fallout Shelter was well received, Bethesda also wants to continue to produce mobile games in the future. In an extensive video, The Elder Scrolls: Blades was presented, which is now available for pre-order.
