Xbox and Bethesda have announced a joint Showcase. The event will start on June 12 and will showcase new information about the Xbox Game Pass and games from Bethesda as well as other partners. What is currently known and who may be interested will be shown to you on MeinMMO.
When does the Showcase take place? To be there live, mark June 12 in your calendar:
- Showcase Xbox & Bethesda
- Sunday, June 12, 7:00 PM CEST
Where can I watch the stream of the Showcase? The folks at Xbox are not picky at all – you can follow the stream on various platforms:
What is it about? After the cancellation of E3, Bethesda and Xbox are opting for their own showcase as an alternative to bring information about new games to the public.
What exactly will be featured in the showcase has not yet been disclosed by the organizers. They only write that there will be a diverse program with surprises.
You will be served gaming news and information about titles from Bethesda, the Xbox Game Studios, and other partners. In addition, there will be a preview of fresh games for the Xbox Game Pass.
What can you expect? The promotional image from the showcase hints at one of the big new titles currently being developed by Bethesda: Starfield. The space adventure is supposed to be released in November 2022, but unfortunately without multiplayer components.
Fans of the Fallout series are also likely to get their money’s worth. Fallout 76 has presented a solid roadmap for 2022 and is likely to show new details about upcoming content during the showcase.
Players of The Elder Scrolls may see the plan for the upcoming months regarding the MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online. The major expansion ‘High Isles’ is set to be released just a few days before the showcase, making it the perfect opportunity to get players excited about upcoming content.
Also, tidbits of information about the successor to Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls 6, are currently possible. According to Todd Howard, Design Director at Bethesda, the 6th part of the series could be released between 2026 and 2028.
So far, there is only a small teaser for TES 6 without much substance:
We have asked Bethesda if they could share more information about the showcase with us. However, there is still no further information available. We will update the article accordingly when we have new information.
What will be featured in the showcase is currently only speculative. And you can gladly join in.
We would like to know what you wish from the showcase. Would you like to see a completely new brand like Starfield or prefer that a few classics get a chance for new games, such as Doom or Wolfenstein?
