“Best spot in a decade” – Commercial clip delights with musical performance by Scrubs stars and Jason Momoa

The medical series Scrubs ended after 9 seasons in 2010. However, a Super Bowl commercial recently gave us a singing and dancing performance by the two actors of J.D. and Turk alongside Aquaman star Jason Momoa.

The medical series and sitcom Scrubs depicts the everyday life at the hospital of John “J.D.” Dorian, who works at Sacred Heart Hospital with his best friend Dr. Christopher Duncan Turk.

Scrubs aired from 2001 to 2010 and comprises 9 seasons. Now, 14 years after the show ended, we once again see the two Scrubs actors Zach Braff and Donald Faison aka J.D. and Turk together in a short humorous commercial from T-Mobile – alongside Jason Momoa.

“My favorite spot of the year”

In the clip, Zach Braff and Donald Faison welcome their new neighbor Jason Momoa, which ends in a small musical interlude where the three stars sing and dance through the front yard.

What do users think? Users on YouTube celebrate the commercial in the comments. References to the movie Flashdance (1983) are noted positively, such as the appearance of actress Jennifer Beals.

The sight of J.D. and Turk also makes some users miss the series Scrubs. For example, a YouTube user said: “This commercial makes me wish for a return of Scrubs.”
