Method streams its progress in the mythic Uldir live. However, one of the best DPS classes is completely missing in World of Warcraft.
Method plays without Rogues: On September 16, Method took down Mythrax, the 7th boss in Uldir, as the second guild in the world—after the US guild Limit. But they did so without a Rogue, just like now with G’huun.

Method uses Warlocks and Monks instead of Rogues
Five Monks for Mythrax: Method required several attempts for Mythrax, where Rogues were present at the beginning. Even just before the decisive fight, where Mythrax finally fell, the Rogue Yliajo was in the raid.
After several attempts, however, this Rogue was replaced—with a second Arcane Mage: Flêks. Here you can see the kill on Mythrax.

G’huun with four Warlocks: The end boss of the current content of Battle for Azeroth, G’huun, is also played by Method without Rogues. The guild repeatedly switches out players to change tactics or optimize damage.
Rogues have also been present for some attempts with G’huun. Currently, however, Method is playing with four Warlocks.

That’s why there are no Rogues
Are Rogues bad now? No. The guild Limit, which was the first to kill Mythrax worldwide, even had two Rogues in their decisive attempt, one Assassination Rogue and one Subtlety Rogue.
For the previous boss Zul, both Method and Limit even had 5 Rogues with them. Other classes are only better suited for certain bosses or bring specific advantages. Something particularly important in the race for the “World First Kill.”

“Class Stacking” is common: Many top guilds take several players of the same class for certain bosses because those classes have advantages for the bosses or can simply deal a lot of damage.
For Zul, particularly Subtlety Rogues have the advantage that they can enhance their Exsanguinate finisher with their Shuriken Storm when hitting multiple targets. At Zul, there are many targets available, making Rogues inherently stronger here.

The mechanics are important: Rogues are particularly good at circumventing mechanics with their many avoidance options like Cloak of Shadows. However, this is no longer possible in Uldir, which is also intended by Blizzard.
Instead, other class abilities are a great advantage, such as Warlock portals with G’huun. The portals allow players to quickly bring the energy matrices into the Reorigination Drive and trigger the Reorigination explosion, which increases the damage G’huun receives and stuns him.
By the way, Rogues are still ranked high on the DPS list of Battle for Azeroth.

Method – the best raid guild in WoW (?)
According to wowprogress, currently, 4 guilds are ahead of G’huun, the final boss of Uldir:
- the US guild Limit
- the EU guild Method
- the Russian guild Exorsus
- and the EU guild Memento
Limit leads the list, having had early access to the raid and being the first guild worldwide to defeat the penultimate boss, Mythrax.
Nevertheless, Method is considered the best raid guild in the world. The guild earned this title with the World First Kill on Kil’jaeden in the Tomb of Sargeras and the World First Kill on Argus in Antorus, the Burning Throne in WoW: Legion. Previously, Exorsus had been the first guild in the world to take down Gul’dan in the Nighthold.
You can watch Method live while raiding. This is the first time the world’s best are showing their progress live.
