The challenges of week 9 in Season 4 of Fortnite: Battle Royale have another special task for you. You need to visit four different named locations and enter the center in a single match.
But no Taco Shops! Once again, the developers at Epic have misled us! Because in the leaks about the challenges of week 9, it was clearly mentioned that Taco Shops should be visited. But since this task was already in Season 3, it seemed fishy to us and many players. In the end, we were right: the Taco Shops were just placeholders to confuse data miners.
By now, the real challenges of Season 4, week 9 of Fortnite are here, and instead of Taco Shops, you should enter the centers of four any named locations.
Enter the center of different named locations in a single match
A tough task: To complete the special task of week 9 of Season 4, you need to combine luck, cunning, and running. You need to reach the center of four different named locations, all in a single game!
Death is forbidden! You must not die along the way! The centers of the locations appear as glowing banners that activate automatically when you touch them.
Avoid hot spots! To make this work, you need to chart an optimal route. It definitely should not go over popular hot spots like Tilted Towers, Dusty Divot, or Greasy Grove. Junk Junction is also off-limits because the treasure from Haunted Hills lies there.
So where to go? We have scouted out two top routes for you.
Route 1 – From Flush Factory to Salty Springs
This is how the route goes: With this path, I, Jürgen, just completed the challenge. I proceeded as follows:
- Flush Factory: I landed here because this location is rarely frequented by many players.
- Lucky Landing: The path to Lucky Landing is quite long, but if you go down along the coast, you will barely encounter enemies.
- Fatal Fields: In this vast area, the center is well visible, but luckily there was no one left. Why would anyone linger in this desolate place after the game starts?
- Salty Springs: From Fatal Fields, it’s not far, and you can reach the center quickly and easily. Challenge completed!
Of course, you can also go the other way and trek from Salty Springs to Flush Factory, but there are usually more opponents lurking at Salty Springs at the beginning than at Flush Factory.
Route 2 – From Lonely Lodge to Tomato Town
This is how the route goes: This route was featured on Express.uk and can also be completed quickly and smoothly. Proceed as follows:
- Lonely Lodge: At this remote location, there usually isn’t much going on, so land there in the center.
- Wailing Woods: After the game starts, no one should be hanging around here anymore. You should reach the goal quickly.
- Risky Reels: By now, there shouldn’t be anyone left, so go get the center!
- Tomato Town: With some luck, there is also no one here, and you can check off the last location.
You can also head from Risky Reels to Anarchy Acres.
Watch out for the storm! All these routes only make sense if the storm zone doesn’t get in your way. So pay attention to where the safe zones are and adjust as necessary.
