The Sinnoh Stone in Pokémon GO is an important item, it can only be obtained in a few ways. We will show you how to find the Sinnoh Stone.
The Sinnoh Stone helps many Pokémon from the 4th generation to evolve. Snibunna, Rihornior, Elevoltek, and eight other Pokémon can only be obtained with the help of the Sinnoh Stone. This evolution item is all the more important. But how do you get the stone?
This is how you can get the Sinnoh Stone
The Sinnoh Stone is quite rare. You cannot obtain it like other evolution items from the PokéStop spin on the 7th day. There are only two ways to get the Sinnoh Stone:
1. Through the Research Breakthrough
If you complete a field research for 7 days, you will not only get a legendary Pokémon as a reward, but you also have a chance to get a Sinnoh Stone.
This was the first way to obtain the Sinnoh Stone. However, the stone is not guaranteed. After Niantic reduced the probability of getting the Sinnoh Stone in the research breakthrough, you now have about a 20% chance of receiving the stone.
2. As a reward in PvP
A better way to get the Sinnoh Stone is through Trainer Battles. Here you receive the Sinnoh Stone as a reward for completing a battle. You do not need to win.
Again, the Sinnoh Stone is not guaranteed, but you can earn a reward four times a day in total. Three times from battles with friends and once as a reward for battling against a Team Leader.
It is worthwhile to be active in Trainer Battles at least four times a day. If you don’t get a Sinnoh Stone, you will receive Stardust as a reward.
