Capcom has announced a third beta for Monster Hunter World. This one is again exclusive to PlayStation 4. It introduces the new monster Nergigante. Additionally, there is new information about the content plans for Monster Hunter World after the release and a fresh trailer.
As Capcom announces in a press release, another beta phase for PlayStation 4 will be released. The now third beta will start on January 19 and run until January 22.
Next beta for PlayStation 4 brings another monster – Nergigante
Alongside the known battles against Great Jagras, Anjanath, and Barroth, players can hunt Nergigante in the third beta phase.

Nergigante is one of six monsters, that Capcom already showcased in a trailer back in September.
DLC in spring brings hungry Bag of Eating
Once Monster Hunter World is finally released, on January 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Capcom will provide Monster Hunter World with updates and DLCs.
The first update in spring 2018 will introduce Deviljho to Monster Hunter World. It has an extremely fast metabolism, which means it must constantly eat and devours everything in its vicinity.
New trailer for Monster Hunter World shows Elder Dragons
A new trailer has also been released, introducing the Elder Dragons. They will return to Monster Hunter World:
- The steel dragon Kushala Daora can create storms. The beast’s body is protected by metal plates
- Flame King Teostra is a monster whose body is surrounded by flames that ignite everything
- Dodogan, a stone-eating wyvern, spits saliva that makes rocks explode
It looks like there will be a lot to hunt in Monster Hunter World.
Monster Hunter World will be released on January 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version is expected to be released in fall 2018.
