Today officially marks the start of Skull and Bones. Just in time for the release, Ubisoft quickly resolves an issue from the beta, and further improvements are already in progress.
What issue is it? Ubisoft’s new pirate MMO, Skull & Bones, faced an annoying problem prior to its official release today (February 16): an excessively slow respawn rate for crucial objects.
In brief:
- Players in Skull and Bones were tasked with gathering acacia wood for their own ship.
- However, for some players, the sought-after trees were simply nowhere to be found.
Players reported waiting up to 30 minutes for a tree that simply did not respawn. The issue with the high respawn rates is not new and affected games like The Division from 2016, for example.
Now, Ubisoft has resolved the problem and is planning further improvements, which we have summarized for you here.
