Zenimax Online has upset the console players of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) with a message regarding a bug fix. Because they now have to live with an annoying problem until June.
What is this bug? On PS4/PS5 and Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X/S, it can happen in ESO that the menus and inventory are updated with a delay. As a result, items in the players’ inventory do not appear when scrolling. Only when you return to the main menu and then reopen the inventory does it work correctly again.
Additionally, this affects the sale of items. Because items you thought you had sold are still displayed in the inventory. The item, however, is sold.
This means if someone wants to resell the item that is still displayed to them, they are actually selling a different item that is now in that inventory slot. However, it is not displayed correctly. You have to leave the inventory after the sale and reopen it for everything to be correct again.

An annoying bug will be fixed only in June
When will the bug fix come? Zenimax Online has announced bad news on Twitter. Because a patch that fixes this problem is not expected to be released until Update 30, which will be released on June 8.
The reason for this delay is that the Blackwood expansion and the Enhanced Edition for consoles are already in the certification process with the platform operators – that is, with Sony and Microsoft. Therefore, no further patches can be submitted for certification before Update 30.
Zenimax thanks the players for their understanding and advises them to use the workarounds mentioned above in the article in the meantime.
How are the players reacting? The console players of ESO are not too happy about having to wait so long for the patch. Here are some of their reactions:
