What’s going on in BDO? Pearl Abyss, the developer of the MMORPG Black Desert Online, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The milestone birthday is, of course, being celebrated. So after the introduction of a new but rather unpopular class, there are now gifts.
What are the gifts? First of all, everyone gets a new outfit – for free. It is the costume “Soldier from Serendia”. According to the developers, there were some requests for higher variety of this outfit. For this reason, the costume is now also available in green and blue variants.

How to get the new variants: You need to do a few things to get the outfits. But it’s worth playing the MMORPG for newcomers anyway.
- You must first complete the main quests in all regions except Valencia.
- Then you will receive new quests from the Black Spirit.
- Complete these quests and you will get the new costume variants as an outfit box in the Pear inventory.
- Per character you can only complete the quests once.
How is the costume received? Players are quite enthusiastic. For some, it’s an outfit that doesn’t have to hide behind the other outfits in the in-game shop. It’s also well received that the costume doesn’t show a lot of skin on female characters, unlike other outfits. It is already being discussed on reddit.
