Fans of Star Wars: Battlefront are hungry for new DLCs and fresh content. But when will there finally be news?
A Proper Announcement
Since the release of Star Wars: Battlefront on PC and consoles, some time has passed. While players fight through various ranks, unlock weapons, emotes, and different factions, the first free DLC “The Battle of Jakku” has also been released. However, there are still at least 4 more DLCs waiting for players, which could already be purchased in advance with the Season Pass.
The site wccftech.com now reports various dialogues from the official forum between a player and the developer Guillaume Mroz. He confirmed that there are currently some technical difficulties with the implementation of the offline multiplayer, the resolution of which will take some time. In addition, he mentioned that there will soon be fresh information about the next DLC – but he could not spoil anything in advance; an “official” announcement was planned.
In a second dialogue with the same user and support, some additional information became known. Internally, there is still no release schedule available. Fans will have to be patient for a while longer.
In addition to the 4 paid DLCs, which include 4 new heroes, 4 new game modes, and 20 maps, there are expected to be more free DLCs modeled after “The Battle of Jakku”. However, reliable statements on this are still missing.
