EA has introduced a new program with Battlefield Labs where players can contribute to improving the shooter. Here you will find out how to participate.
What is Battlefield Labs? This is a new testing environment that EA has announced for the upcoming Battlefield.
- Players should have the opportunity to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the game through playtests and help in the development and improvement with their feedback.
- While there have been similar testing environments in the past, Battlefield Labs is supposed to test “much more content,” according to EA
- Combat, Maps, Destruction, Game Modes, New Features, Weapons, Vehicles, Gadgets
The feedback is supposed to help prioritize; in finding out what needs improvement and what feels like the “true” Battlefield experience, it is stated in a 5-minute video from EA.

How to participate in Battlefield Labs
To be able to participate as a tester in Battlefield Labs, you need to register for the program on the Electronic Arts website.
- Go to EA.com
- Click on “Register now”
- Log in to your EA account with your email address
- Sign up for playtesting. To do this, click on “Sign in”
- You will be prompted to read and accept EA’s playtesting agreements in order to proceed
- The website will now indicate that you are part of the playtesting community. You can then fill out a short form to tell more about yourself – such as what type of playtest you want to participate in. Click on “Get started” to do this
EA also states that your position in the registration queue does not affect whether you will be invited for a test. So it’s not a big deal if you register late.
If you want to receive additional updates about Battlefield Labs and a possible participation, EA offers its own Discord server that you can easily join with your Discord account.
