In Battlefield 6 some players notice that they run out of ammunition too quickly. But there is a good reason for that.
What is the problem with the ammunition? In social networks, part of the community criticizes the amount of ammunition soldiers have. Some players complain that the reserves are too small and they run out of shots quickly. Others are confused and ask if they missed something.
A player on Reddit writes, “The amount of ammo you get for the assault class is pathetic.” However, the player did not realize that this one sentence already contained the crucial info as to why they had so little ammunition.
Little ammunition because you have double the firepower
Why is there so little ammunition? The ammo reserves for the assault soldier are significantly reduced per primary weapon, meaning assault rifle, carbine, shotgun, and similar, if the player carries a second primary weapon as a gadget – this important info, however, is not mentioned in the game.
The assault soldier is the only class that can, for example, carry a shotgun in addition to the assault rifle. To ensure this special ability is not too strong, the total ammo carried for both primary weapons is significantly reduced.
If you spawn with the M433 – which is the first assault rifle and can be played right from the start – you have 7 reserve magazines without a second primary weapon. However, if you carry a second primary weapon, you only have 4 reserve magazines left. Thus, you run out of ammunition much faster with the M433.
How do you solve the ammo problem? It’s simple, you need to carry a different gadget instead of the second primary weapon. The biggest obstacle is the fact that you need to unlock other gadgets like the spawn beacon first.
