Battlefield 6 enters its second beta weekend and upgrades once again. What to expect in Phase 2 is detailed here.
What’s new in Beta 2? From August 14 to 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM CEST, you can dive into the Battlefield 6 beta again. In this phase, you can look forward to the following new features compared to the first:
- New Map
- Empire State – A map that can only be played with infantry and is set in Brooklyn
- 2 new game modes
- Squad Deathmatch – You fight in smaller squads of 4 players against each other to reach a certain number of kills
- Rush – A tactical mode where the attacking team must achieve specific mission objectives while the defenders must prevent them from doing so
- New rewards
- War Machine Vehicle Skin – Capture 42 flags
- Bat Company Dog Tag – Achieve 200 kills or assists
- Striking Distance Weapon Package – Capture 10 sectors

What else do you need to know? This time, there is no early access, so you can start directly on August 14 at 10:00 AM CEST and play until August 18 at 10:00 AM. If you want to download it in advance, you can do so as the preload has been active since the first beta weekend.
