In these game modes, usually 100 people jump in at the same time onto a battlefield, equip themselves with weapons and gear, and fight until only one remains. With this simple game principle, games like Fortnite are currently taking the gaming market worldwide.
DICE is currently developing Battlefield V, which is set to be released this year. With this, they aim to not only appeal to fans of the series but also stretch their feelers and offer competition to the big players PUBG and Fortnite.
