Today, EA presented several new multiplayer maps for Battlefield 5 during EA Play 2019. You will be able to enjoy these maps soon.
What’s new: The live show mainly focused on Chapter 4 and new maps, which were showcased in several gameplay trailers.
Additionally, developer DICE announced private matches, which are set to be introduced in September.
Moreover, a preview of Chapter 5 was provided. This will focus on the Pacific theme of World War II and introduce two new factions: the USA and Japan.

Chapter 4 brings four new maps
This is Marita, the new Greece map: Marita offers a balanced mix of nature and inhabited areas. You will battle your opponents across the most diverse terrain.
All weapon classes are expected to benefit from the map, including fans of vehicles and aircraft.

Overall, Chapter 4 features four new maps, along with several new weapons.
When will the new maps be released? Marita is set to be released in July. Before that, the much larger desert map Al-Sundan will come out on June 27.
Later, two more maps, Provence and Lofoten Islands, will follow.

Chapter 5 takes you to the Pacific
At the end of the year, Battlefield 5 will head to the Pacific. Accordingly, two new factions will be introduced: the USA and Japan.
