Battlefield 2042 was released on November 19, 2021, and was immediately shredded by critics. Since then, the developers have been continuously working to improve the shooter in order to meet the community’s expectations.

What did Season 4 bring in new content? The latest season in Battlefield 2042 is titled Eleventh Hour and started on February 28, 2023. In addition to gameplay improvements, the following new content was added to the shooter:
- New map: Flashpoint
- New vehicle: CAV-Brawler
- New specialist: Camila Blasco
- New weapons: MP AC9, assault rifle RM68, LMG RPT-31 and shotgun Super 500
- New gadget: SPH-launcher
- New archive weapons: SVD and LMG Type 88
There was already a major change in Season 3. Due to high player demand, the class system was reintroduced.
