Battlefield Open Beta – Who is it suitable for and what is included?
Who should check it out? Battlefield 2042 is more of a classic multiplayer game. On PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, up to 128 players can compete in a match.
Destruction, military vehicles, and aircraft – anyone who enjoys massive battles with huge maps should definitely check out Battlefield 2042. Initial reactions report technical issues, but you should be prepared for that. Nevertheless, there are also many positive voices.
We have compiled a checklist for you that shows whether the beta might be something for you.
These contents are available for testing: In the beta, you can try out the Conquest mode. The map Orbital is available for this.
The map is quite large, featuring open areas, forests, and also buildings. There is even a rocket platform. During the match, the rocket standing there will launch if players do not destroy it beforehand.
Furthermore, you can test four of the total 10 specialists that are said to be available at the launch of Battlefield 2042:
- Assault Soldier – Webster Mackey
- Support – Maria Falck
- Engineer – Piotr ‘Boris’ Guskovsky
- Recon – Wikus ‘Casper’ van Daele
Levolution also plays a role, a previously known feature from Battlefield V. It refers to random events that can change the map during a match.
During your matches on the Orbital map, for example, a tornado may randomly appear on the map and disrupt the matches (that had to be included, sorry).
We will also accompany the start of the beta as we did during Early Access in the ticker for you and provide you with information about the Open Beta.
