What are the cheats in Battlefield 2042 all about? On October 22, 2021, the highly anticipated Battlefield 2042 will be released, but the excitement is already dampened by the prospect of massive cheating. Because even 2 months before the release, a first website audaciously offers the newest and best cheats directly at the launch.
With the slogan “Get an advantage over your enemies before they do!” the cheating site promotes its frauds. According to their own claims, they are the best hack site in the world and their 1.2 million registered users have never been banned in a Battlefield game since 2006!
All of this sounds quite far-fetched, but the development that there are already cheats this early is disturbing.
Wall-hacks and aimbots for BF 2042 already on offer
What kind of cheats are these? On the site, various standard cheats are boisterously offered. They claim that all of them are undetectable by anti-cheat programs because they update them immediately as soon as an update comes out in the game or with the security software. Among the offered cheats are:
- An aimbot that reportedly takes down enemies even at the other end of the map
- A wall-hack that marks enemies all over the map in red (when you can’t hit them) or highlights them in green when a hit is possible.
- A radar that shows all players and reliably reveals them
These and more than 20 other cheats are available “at a fair price” on the site if you register.
Who offers the cheats? Since we at MeinMMO despise cheating and do not support such practices, we refrain from naming the cheating site and providing a further link. However, we have thoroughly researched and can confirm the existence of the site and its offerings.
Where do the cheats come from? How the providers get these cheats is not mentioned. The offering could also be a scam. On the other hand, it is quite conceivable that data leaks from the playtests have been used to develop the first cheat tools.
What can the developers do? The claims of the cheating site sound boastful and ostentatious, and perhaps the cheats are not as good as they claim. But what if there really are solid wallhacks, aimbots, and so on available at the release of Battlefield 2042? Will the game then become a cheater’s shooting fest at launch, just like CoD Warzone is right now?
Initially, this contradicts the fact that BF 2042 is supposed to have strong anti-cheat software. Additionally, there is a rigorous ban policy, which has already affected leakers who have unlawfully published data from the alpha. As a final argument against the cheating plague in BF 2042, it is also stated that Battlefield 2042 is not free-to-play, but must be purchased anew every time a player gets banned.
One can only hope that this will prevent the spread of too many cheaters in the game at launch and that Battlefield 2042 will not be similarly infested with cheaters, as Warzone currently is.
