The setting is set nearly 20 years in the future and places players in a world shaped by the conflict between the superpowers USA and Russia.

How the new Battlefield 2042 is being received: The trailer has mostly caused a stir among fans. What has been seen so far and what we now know about the game has been very well received by fans and interested parties. There is a lot of praise, and the mood is mostly positive. However, one thing is currently bothering many players.
Battlefield 2042 – When will we see the first gameplay?
Many are now waiting for this: The trailer was spectacular and action-packed, giving a good overview of what players can expect from mid-October, but it did not show one thing – namely real gameplay. At the very end of the new trailer, it was revealed that the gameplay reveal will take place on Sunday, June 13. Unfortunately, there is currently no exact time, but at least a good indication.
Where will the Battlefield 2042 gameplay be shown? Currently, it is assumed that the gameplay reveal will take place during the E3 2021 – one of the most important video game fairs of the year. This runs from June 12 to June 15 and has several shows scheduled on that Saturday. The first gameplay is likely to be shown as part of the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase.
