When is the new season coming? The sixth season of Battlefield 2042 will be released on October 10, 2023. Conveniently for October, it seems to get a bit spooky, as the trailer gives you a little taste of the season.

What does the trailer show? The trailer shows you not only a new map but also new opponents that are likely quite formidable.
The location that the trailer takes you to is an old laboratory consisting of a huge dome. Overgrown with plants, it offers you many corners to hide and to make sneaky attacks – as well as for your opponents.
And they are formidable, as the trailer shows you. People who were brought to the laboratory to conduct experiments on them. After something went wrong, they are now deadly and bloodthirsty adversaries, and, as beautifully described in the trailer, the laboratory has turned into a slaughterhouse.
The rather dark aspect of the new opponents is their design. With their mechanically glowing yellow eyes and their more animalistic gaze, they create a certain tension when seen. Especially considering that yellow eyes often do not signify good things in many games.
What the new season promises: The developers say about the map shown in the trailer that you will need to engage in more infantry-based combat at close range.
In addition to the new map and opponents, the sixth season will also offer you new weapons, gadgets, and a new Battle Pass.
