In the Fort Vaux map in Battlefield 1, players have been trying to solve a complex Easter egg over the past few weeks. They discovered that certain signs must be destroyed and levers must be pulled in a specific order. After that, the mysterious door to a cell opens.
In this chamber hangs a picture of a horse – one can hear drops falling from pipes. A particularly observant player found that the drops from these pipes are rhythmic.
This rhythmic dripping was then translated by players using Morse code. As Reddit user derwangler explains, the translation of the Morse code is “ea.com/neverbethesame”, which leads to this website.
More than the displayed date and the message “neverbethesame” has not yet been concluded from this Easter egg. EA probably does not want to reveal too much yet.
