The summer content of Battlefield 1 includes two new maps and the In The Name Of The Tsar DLC. First insights are available here.
Several releases are planned for the summer in Battlefield 1 to keep the game exciting. You will soon be able to play your matches on a new night map, which has already been visually presented. Another map has also been shown, which will soon be available on the test servers. Additionally, many players are probably looking forward to the DLC that unlocks the Russian army in the game. New details about weapons, vehicles, and maps will be available soon.
New Maps: Prise de Tahure and Nivelle Nights
You will soon be able to try out the new map called “Prise de Tahure” on the test servers (CTE). The setting is positioned shortly after the Nivelle Offensive, where French troops strive to hold the heights of the Butte-de-Tahure region. On the map, you will find many trenches leading you through small villages that have clearly been heavily impacted during the battles.
In the announcement, the developers state that you need a good tactic and must be adaptable to win on this map.
Nivelle Nights is a night map and will be released soon. The night map has already been announced by the developers and is expected to be released in June for Premium Pass owners. You could already test this map on the CTE servers. The setting includes muddy battlefields that you need to defend against the enemy. The map has already undergone several tests and is now in the final phase.
Testing Maps with Friends – Premium Friends
In line with the new maps, the Premium Friends feature might become active again. Another test event is currently being completed by the developers, where Premium Pass holders can play together with friends on the new maps.

In The Name Of The Tsar DLC – Content and Preview
Initial details about the Battlefield 1 expansion “In The Name Of The Tsar” will be available in early June. On June 10, EA PLAY 2017 will connect fans around the world with the new games and content from EA. The Russia DLC for Battlefield 1 will also be presented at this event.
There will be gameplay tests and previews of maps, weapons, and vehicles from the second expansion of Battlefield 1. You can follow the event either in person or online.
Nivelle Nights will be released in June, In The Name Of The Tsar, and the Prise de Tahure map will come in late summer.
May Update Coming Soon
The May update for Battlefield 1 will be released soon. Not only new content has been worked on, but also the base game. Fans of Operations can look forward to this update, as there will be playlists and easier access to operations, allowing you to dive into matches even faster.
