Battlefield 1 September Update Patch Notes
The developers usually release the patch notes for such major updates only after the update has been successfully applied and maintenance has been completed.
We will then update this article for you with the respective patch notes. So far, it is known that the “In the Name of the Tsar” update will include a new feature for better graphics: HDR10 support.
With HDR (High Dynamic Range), the appearance on HDR screens will become even better.
Thanks to better contrast ratios and an expanded color palette, a more realistic, comprehensive, and natural appearance is possible. Whether on the snowy Lupkow Pass or in the dark alleys of Zarizyn – the bright and dark areas are even more detailed and come closer to actual perception by the human eye.
This is a mandatory download for all Battlefield 1 players who wish to play online. The following bug fixes apply to all Battlefield 1 players.
ASSIGNMENTS AND SPECIALIZATIONS
Prepare yourself better than ever for battle with the specialization system. New customization options allow you to increase your effectiveness on the battlefield and discover new gameplay styles with your soldier. All players start with a set of base specializations, and numerous additional specializations can be unlocked by completing assignments.
Assignments are new challenges that will put your soldier skills to the test. Prove with first steps assignments that you have what it takes to be a soldier before you tackle the more difficult assignments in the “Stay Vigilant” category. Will you focus on one kit or complete them all to become a jack of all trades?
HDR10 SUPPORT
The game now supports HDR10. With HDR (High Dynamic Range), the visuals of Battlefield 1 are even more stunning if you have the required technology (a screen with HDR support and a console or PC with HDR functionality). Thanks to better contrast ratios and an expanded color palette, even more realistic, comprehensive, and natural visuals are possible.
