Changes to Battlefield 1 were made in today’s November update 1.04. This includes bug fixes and new features.
Today, the “Battlefield 1″ servers were down for several hours. During this time, the update with version 1.04 was deployed to the servers. In the meantime, the developers have provided the official patch notes that include the changes of today’s update. We will show you what has changed.
Update 1.04 – Changelog
Today’s patch included several changes that contribute to the overall stability of the game. Additionally, the Suez map has been revised and now, as announced, has 5 flags instead of 3. The ticket count for attackers in the Operations game mode (64 players) has been increased to 250. Moreover, you can now customize soldiers from the main menu.
Here you see an excerpt from the patch notes of today’s patch:
Operations:
64 players:
- Tickets for attackers have been increased from 150 to 250.
- Tickets for killed defenders in the sector have been increased from 2 to 3.
- The duration to capture a flag has been slightly reduced.
40 players:
- Tickets for attackers have been increased from 150 to 200.
- Tickets for killed defenders in the sector have been increased from 2 to 3.
- The duration to capture a flag has been slightly reduced.
Suez map:
- 2 additional flags have been added. There are now 5 flags on the map.
- 1 additional armored vehicle appears per team in the headquarters.
- The size of the capture zones in villages has been reduced.
General:
- You can now customize your soldiers in the menu without having to do it just before a game.
- Squad leaders can now be changed via vote if the squad leader ignores command requests.
- The default number of players in Operations has been reduced from 64 to 40.
- The pigeon in the game mode Pigeon Carrier is now detectable from a greater distance.
- You can now rent RSP servers via the menu point.
- A squad XP boost has been added as potential loot from Battlepacks.
Weapons:
- Accuracy of support machine guns has been increased.
- For lightweight machine guns, precision now also increases more quickly when firing.
- Lightweight LMGs now feature a bipod.
- The precision changes of SMGs and LMGs during customization have been revised to better highlight the differences.
Gadgets:
- Sticky mines are now indestructible until they detonate.
- The number of magazines for gas and incendiary tripwire bombs has been increased to 2 to make them more attractive compared to HE tripwire bombs.
- Mortar has undergone a balancing overhaul. Players must now distinguish more clearly between slow and precise fire or fast, imprecise fire.
- Rifle grenades now have a delay after firing.
Vehicles:
- The fortress gun deals more damage to vehicles and has a larger kill zone against infantry.
- The damage of anti-aircraft guns against planes and aircraft parts has been reduced.
- The damage of scout rifles against aircraft parts has been reduced.
- 50 kg bombs can now cause minor damage to planes and tanks upon direct hit.
- The damage of K-shells against attack planes has been increased.
