In Battlefield 1, the DLC They Shall not Pass brings four new maps, new tanks, a new elite class, and more cool content for Battlefield 1.
In March, the They Shall not Pass DLC for Battlefield 1 will be released, unlocking many new contents for players. In recent days, the developers have continuously teased the new content with small hints. Recently, a video was released showing a vehicle and a soldier. Now, the developers have announced what will be changed in the first paid expansion for Battlefield 1.
DLC They Shall not Pass – New Vehicle, Behemoth, Elite Class, and Stationary Weapon
As seen in the teaser video, Battlefield 1 players will soon have new vehicles. In the They Shall not Pass DLC, the French army will join the battle. You will be able to fight as French soldiers in blue uniforms.
Additionally, there will be new vehicles that you can drive around the battlefields and take out enemies. With a stationary weapon and a new elite class, you will also deal a lot of damage outside of these new vehicles.
Behemoth
- Spawn in the new Char 2C tank and control this epic new Behemoth in Battlefield 1. This heavy beast is based on a real French tank, as some players speculated when watching the teaser video.

Assault Tank
- You can expect this new vehicle in the game as well. The St. Chamond tank was the best-armed tank of the war. With this French war machine, you will make a big impression on the battlefields.

Elite Class
- The new elite class in the game will be the Trench Raider. This elite class is equipped with a brutal melee club and has a remarkable arsenal of grenades.

Stationary Weapon
- The They Shall not Pass DLC apparently defines itself by a lot of firepower. Similar to the field gun, the new howitzer can also be used by an infantry player. This stationary weapon is operated through indirect aiming/shooting, as you would also do with mortars or artillery mounted on vehicles.

Four New Maps and a New Game Mode for Battlefield 1
The new maps coming to the game with the They Shall not Pass DLC have already been announced with concept arts. Now, the first “real” images of the maps that will be integrated into the game with the expansion are available.
Verdun Heights
- The initial bombardment in the Battle of Verdun has set a large part of the forests on fire. In these woods, players fight for control of the map. You must advance to the fortifications of Verdun while under artillery fire.
Fort de Vaux
- In the underground catacombs of Fort de Vaux, the first major confrontation of World War I takes place. Dark corridors and damp tunnels make this map a labyrinth. Here, German and French soldiers fight with grenades, rifles, bayonets, and flamethrowers.
Soissons
- The picturesque landscape of Soissons will become the scene of fierce fighting with ground troops, tanks, and airplanes in the morning hours. Responsible for this is the retreat of the 10th French Army with its mighty Saint Chamond tanks. Louder than the sounds of battle is only the thunder.
Bruch
- In an attempt to seize the bridges over the Aisne, the French are led over a battlefield filled with rusted tank wrecks. These wrecks are the remains of past tank battles and create a deadly maze on the map.
New Battlefield 1 Game Mode: Frontlines
In the new game mode Frontlines, Rush and Conquest are combined. You fight from flag to flag towards the opposing headquarters. After capturing a flag, the path continues to the enemy base. Once you have taken the opposing headquarters, the game continues as a Rush match. During this time, you must take or defend telegraph poles.
Soon, the developers will reveal more information about the They Shall not Pass DLC for Battlefield 1. We will inform you immediately when we have news.
