The November update of Battlefield 1 addresses ignorant squad leaders and allows for their replacement. Here’s how it works.
The major “Battlefield 1” update in autumn has made some changes to the game. One of the new features allows the replacement of inactive squad leaders who do not give orders. Most of you know how to gain a lot of experience points in Battlefield 1 and that squad leaders have a significant impact on this. Unfortunately, in the past weeks since the release of the game, it has often been the case that squad leaders play for themselves and do not issue orders to their squad. This results in valuable XP being lost. With a new system, squad leaders in Battlefield 1 can be replaced.
Kick Squad Leaders
The squad changes in the latest Patch 1.04 for Battlefield 1 put an end to inactive squad leaders. If they ignore the team’s command requests, there will be a position change after a short time, and another squad member will become the leader. Here’s how the system works:
- If a squad member requests a command without an active squad order, the requesting player is added to a squad leader waiting list.
- From now on, a 60-second timer begins.
- If the squad leader does not issue a squad order within those 60 seconds, the first player in the squad leader waiting list will be promoted to the new squad leader.
- This player then has another 60 seconds to issue a command. If this does not happen, the next player in the squad leader waiting list takes the squad leader’s position.
- The waiting list of squad leaders is built up after command requests. The player who requested a command first is at the top.
- Once the squad leader issues a command, the waiting list for that squad is cleared.
These changes should ensure that you can earn more experience points in the future. It has always been frustrating when a squad leader does not give orders and you had to forgo the additional experience points. Now you can take the reins yourself and lead your team to victory.
