In the upcoming “World War I” shooter Battlefield 1, you can enjoy a whopping 47 minutes of multiplayer gameplay.
Only after the “EA Play” event at E3 did things really get started for Battlefield fans: During the livestream, a large-scale multiplayer battle for Battlefield 1 was showcased – with numerous stars at the controllers. Snoop Dogg, Terry Crews, and Zac Efron battled each other on land, at sea, and in the air.
Multiplayer Gameplay Footage from Battlefield 1
If you don’t want to miss this spectacle – or want to watch it again – we embed in the following a recording showcasing a staggering 47 minutes of footage:
The German Empire faces off against the United Kingdom: In the video, we experience perspectives from foot soldiers, ride along in tanks, or ascend to dizzying heights piloting fighter planes. Particularly with the latter, the controls seem not to be that straightforward: Early in the video, a plane buries its nose into the ground while chasing an enemy.
In the gameplay video, you’ll also get an impression of the in-game graphics, which fans mainly celebrate with astonishment. Not only does the scenery leave a strong impression, but the details, when viewed up close, are definitely worth seeing.
We see several vehicles, armors, and weapons with various (reload) animations. Battlefield 1 is said to provide a variety of different guns and gadgets. Compared to its predecessors, melee weapons also come into focus.
Especially important for many fans: Do the weapons cause a real ruckus? And here the answer is: Yes. Almost everything can be leveled on the multiplayer maps: Walls can be easily breached by tanks, buildings can take substantial damage, and the trees whistle around due to devastating hits.
Battlefield 1 will also feature an observer mode, which is already known from previous titles.
