Graphics issues and FPS drops have been present since Patch 1.04 in Battlefield 1 for PS4 and Xbox One. These issues are expected to be resolved with the next patch.
After developer DICE released the Patch 1.04 for Battlefield 1, players complained about graphics issues. There has even been talk of an accidental graphics downgrade. In the forum, a workaround was shared that temporarily resolved these graphics issues for many players. Now the developers have announced that they have found a solution for blurry textures and FPS drops. This solution is expected to resolve the mentioned issues with the next patch.
Battlefield 1 Graphics Issues – Resolved!
In the Battlefield forum, Nils ‘FancySquirrel‘ Hallberg, Development Director at DICE, announced that they have found the bug that caused the various graphics issues. “We found a bug that explains many of the mentioned problems like blurry textures and FPS drops. The bug is related to dynamic resolution … .”
The developers have prepared a fix for this problem for all platforms except PC. There is no fix for PC because dynamic resolution is only used on consoles and not on PC. The graphics issue in Battlefield 1 is expected to be resolved in the next patch. However, it is unknown when exactly this patch will be released.
Battlefield 1: Issues with Quit Button and Reviving
Another issue in Battlefield 1 is the non-functioning quit button, which simply does not respond after a match. Additionally, there is a bug where players, after being revived, must switch weapons before they can shoot again. These issues repeatedly occur in the game and cause frustration among players. DICE employee Striterax confirmed on Twitter that they are aware of the problems and that they will be fixed.
As soon as there is an exact date for the next patch for Battlefield 1, we will inform you.
