If you want to have your own server in Battlefield 1, you can easily and conveniently do this via in-game shop. EA offers a feature called “Rent a Server”, allowing players to rent a proprietary machine for the online shooter that certainly meets the game’s requirements.
Until now, those who wanted to operate their own server had to rely on third-party providers and rent a machine from them unless they happened to have such a device on hand. In Battlefield 1, this is not necessary, as the publisher EA offers servers for rent themselves as the sole provider.
Always the best servers
The advantage of this solution is, of course, that EA can guarantee that the machines are actually optimally suited for Battlefield 1 and are always up to date. Additionally, support can be centralized, and problems can be quickly identified and resolved.
On the rented servers, players may customize various gameplay options and change the map rotation. However, not all gameplay features are variable from the start. EA intends to unlock more options after obtaining feedback from customers by the end of the year.
