There was a rumor recently about Battleborn that the hero shooter from Gearbox would soon become free2play. This has now been denied by Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford.
Battleborn is still doing poorly and only a few players dare to log on to the servers of the colorful and wacky hero shooter with crude humor and crazy characters. Therefore, many players are already hoping that Battleborn will soon follow the path of Evolve and finally become Free2Play.

This is why many fans were also excited when the website Kotaku released the headline “Battleborn is going Free2Play soon!” As early as this November, the unfortunate game is supposed to get a new chance as a free version.
But soon came the disappointment when Gearbox head Randy Pitchford spoke out on Twitter. “Battleborn will not be Free2Play” was his statement. Instead, there will be a demo at some point, allowing interested players to test the game. However, he definitely rules out a Free2Play version.
