The MOBA shooter Battleborn will not be able to meet its release date in February. It is delayed significantly.
In Battleborn, the first testing phases in a Closed Beta have now started, all still strictly under NDA. The game was originally scheduled for release on February 9, 2016, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The date cannot be met. The planned release is postponed by 3 months.
The new release date of Battleborn is, according to publisher Take Two Interactive, now the May 3, 2016. No reasons have been given so far.
Battleborn is part of a series of games that want to revitalize the team shooter genre. Battleborn relies on the quirky look from Borderlands for its world and character design and aims to combine a dynamic shooter with character development over a match and the character diversity of a MOBA.
