As the son of the archdevil Mephistopheles, Raphael holds a high rank and has much more power than many other devils. His strength lies not only in his abilities as a devil but above all in his seductive, manipulative, and cunning character.
Raphael enjoys involving players in his intrigues. For Raphael owns the House of Hope, where he entices people into contracts that ultimately make them eternal debtors. He is determined to expand his power and strives to unite the Nine Hells under his rule.
His ability to influence others through cunning and deceit makes him dangerous and unpredictable.
- Good to know: Enver Gortash was virtually raised by Raphael. Raphael kept and raised the young Gortash in his dungeon – until Gortash finally managed to escape from the House of Hope.
Rank 2: Vlaakith
Vlaakith CLVII is the Lich Queen of the Githyanki and one of the most feared characters. Through her attained almost divine strength, she has shaped the Githyanki over millennia with her relentless will into her own fanatics. She is determined to become a deity and behaves accordingly.
As the alleged descendant of Vlaakith I (the descendant of Mother Gith), she claimed a hereditary right to lead the Githyanki, which she achieved through intrigues and the elimination of all rivals. She promises her loyal followers the Ascent,
which actually amounts to the absorption of their souls – just to gain even more power and live forever.
Rank 1: Elminster
Elminster is regarded as one of the most powerful and outstanding mortals. He follows Mystra, the goddess of magic, and is over 1000 years old. Over the years, he has gained deep knowledge in magic, history, and many other areas.
As one of Mystra’s Chosen, Elminster has direct access to divine magic and support, giving him additional powers that are not accessible to normal mortals. Elminster is also considered a master of counterspelling and metamagic, with which wizards can shape their spells according to their preferences.
We have placed him in first place because, in addition to his strength, he also brings incredible knowledge and a wealth of experience.
